Welcoming Our Latest Tenant to Downtown Ventura

Welcoming Our Latest Tenant to Downtown Ventura

Real Investments is proud to announce our newest tenant to Downtown Core Main Street of Ventura, California. The Six Chow House, located at 419 East Main Street. Jake King is a seasoned restaurant operator with his amazing Executive Chef Rafa! The food, décor, atmosphere, and entertainment are stellar. This is The Six’s 4th location with successful locations in West Los Angeles, Studio City, and Calabasas. At our advice, the property owner opened the frontage of the building for all foot traffic to have a direct line of sight to the stage and interior action. For your next business meeting, family dinner, or night out with friends, enjoy the experience at The Six Chow House!

The inspiration for this restaurant goes back to the 1920’s prohibition era when a community of six artists in Northern California formed to create the Society of Six. The art form of these individuals was in the form of their home-made meals, brews and wines that were made in their cabin known as “The Chow House”. The current owners took inspiration from these six artists and created this themed restaurant experience in 2010. The welcoming decor is made mostly from recycled materials and meals are prepared with classic cooking utensils such as cast iron skillets and served on rustic wood planks. The theme is further extended to the menu that features starters, entrees and drinks in options of six. This cozy restaurant will make customers feel at home with a menu that is appealing to everyone.

The Six Chow House at 419 East Main Street is appropriately located down the street from the beautiful Mission Church and is centrally located near many other historic monuments in Ventura. Less than a mile from the promenade and Ventura pier, this business location receives lots of foot traffic from people coming and going to enjoy the nearby picturesque beach. This downtown area has been and continues to be a major contributor to the culture of Ventura as a whole. Down the street is the Museum of Ventura County with many pieces relevant to the city’s history. The Six Chow House serves as a great resting and refueling spot for travelers while they take in the natural beauty of the city. Sidewalk seating for the businesses faces the ocean and is close to the hillside where there are many great hiking spots including the Ventura Botanical Gardens. Make sure to stop by The Six Chow House during your next adventures in Ventura!
